I am leaving the country and am looking to sublet my room. It's in a safe and beautiful historic building in Condesa, an easy walk to the Chapultepec Metro and Chapultepec Park, all of Condesa and Roma Norte. There are three supermarkets and a ton of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There is also a huge farmers market directly outside the building every Tuesday.

My roommates are two American women who work as writers. They are really nice! The room has a huge closet and a queen-sized bed (no other furniture, I move a lot). The apartment is also quite large with large windows in every room, the living room and dining room have window seats. We also have wireless internet. The room may be available for longer, but I am not sure yet. If you would like to stay shorter we may be able to arrange something.

Travelling to Mexico City and looking for a great and centrally located place to stay at? If you are looking for short term accommodation in Mexico City, then I can rent you my FURNISHED apartment, which is centrally located in Col. Del Valle, quite close to the subway (Etiop�a Station) and also near downtown, Roma, Condesa, Reforma, Coyoac�n, etc. I�m not an estate agent or work for an agency, so the place comes to you directly from the owner.

The flat is spacious. It's fully furnished and all of it has hard wooden floors. There is a kitchen, a microwave, a fridge, a living room, a dining room, a master bedrom with a super comfortable, orthopedic bed and a very large bathroom as well. The bedroom has good light, hard wooden floor and a desk for you to work on. The bathroom is huge and has both a shower and a bath tub.

The price includes the flat with all of its accompanying furniture plus electricity, building maintenance, trash collection, Cable TV, water, linen & towels, use of kitchen utensils & dinnerware. Gas, fast wireless Internet & local phone calls are NOT included in the rent, but these will set you up around 50usd.

The neighborhood is very walkable -- within 2 blocks there are maybe a dozen eateries (1 vegetarian, 1 French caf�, local fondas, several excellent bakeries and cafes). There is also a super market just across the street from my place and there are also two larger supermarkets nearby, a market if you wanna buy fresh fruit and vegetables, caf�s, main avenues (Insurgentes, Divisi�n del Norte, Gabriel Mancera, Amores, Av. Coyoac�n, Eje 4 sur), dry cleaner's & laundry and several grocery and convenience stores. It is extremely close to Roma & Condesa (5 minutes) & Coyoac�n (10 minutes).

You are certain to enjoy your stay here if you are a clean, quiet & non-smoker person.

[This is also posted in 'apartamentos en alquiler', since there is an opportunity either for a short- or long-term rental.] I am looking for someone to take over from Nov-Jan, and renew the lease thereafter if desired. Monthly rent is MX$10000 or ~$750 at current rates.

The apartment is in a great area, on Mariano Escobedo at Euler, where Gutenberg and Masaryk intersect. Excellent views from living room and bedroom, cable tv and fast wireless internet included through owner's adjacent apartment, laundry in unit. Owner has long-term and trustworthy maid who charges MX$200 (~$15) for cleaning. The neighborhood is very walkable -- within 2 blocks there are 3 seafood places, 2 vegetarian, maybe a dozen other eateries, an Irish bar, a mall, several excellent bakeries and cafes. It will be hard to leave!

Parking is available at a garage (pensi�n) a half-block away; I currently have a space there that I would be happy to pass along. Monthly fee for parking is MX$975 (~$73), they have an attendant 24 hrs.

Owners are warm and interesting people, and speak perfect English.
